A total of 17 groups (68 golfers) took part in this year’s event, with teams representing 10 different countries. It was great to see everyone proudly playing for their nation on the day.
We teed off at 9:30am, with the men playing from the white tees and the ladies from the reds. Greenwood, now boasting its new clubhouse, was in excellent condition and provided a true test for all players.
The format saw each country field teams of four, with the best three Stableford scores counting toward the team total. Several countries entered multiple teams.
Taking top honours this year were 4 gentlemen representing England 
Team 3, who posted an impressive 101 points, just edging out Ireland 
on countback.

After the round, we returned to Magic Bar where Gifsy and her team laid on a fantastic buffet. The prize presentation followed, with Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals awarded, along with the trophy to our champions! 
It was also great to see so many members wearing the new Magic Golf Society shirts, launched to mark the occasion.
