We finished the golfing week with the short drive to Rayong Green Valley, never a high scoring course and today was no different, nobody coming close to beating their handicap.
There was 10 groups playing off the white tees at 6,500 yards and again was a very tight contest with a few countbacks to determine the podium places.
Again nice to see a few new faces joining us, hope you enjoyed your day with us, also Neil’s last round with us, fingers crossed your flight doesn’t get cancelled again, see you soon mate.
We paid 7 places today with just 3pts separating the top 9 players.
Today’s winner has gone back to back, not only winning, but beating an Aussie on a CB to win, congratulations to John Doyle with 33pts winning on a back 9 CB, another great round, see how your fare off 7 at Lakeside on Monday.
2nd place also with 33 just missing out was Mr Green Valley himself John McGee, something about all 3 courses there bring Chuckers A game out, solid round mate.
3rd place was Pat “Never out the prizes” Lavin, another great round of 32pts getting 3rd on another CB, another good score mate.
4th place was Green Valley member Andy Leach also with 32pts, a good round, hope you enjoyed your day with us.
5th place again with 32pts but missing out to Pat and Andy on a CB was Mike Clarkson, 3rd round in 3 days may have ran out of steam.
6th today was John Molloy with a decent score of 31pts, nice round Johnny.
7th and final prize of the day was Dan C with 30pts, winning a tight CB.
