Last game of the week took us to Bangpra where we took full advantage of the 1900 all-in voucher from PSC. This is tremendous value and is a saving of 1100 baht on what is a very testing golf course in very good condition. It was a saving that was much appreciated by our 36 players.
We played with 2 flights today with the break being at 20+. Surprisingly, it was Flight A that dominated with the top 3 scores all coming from that flight and all being separated on a countback with Garry Chrystal, Jean Louis Goergen and Garry Lyon all scoring 37 points. Jean Louis beat Garry Lyon for the runners-up slot by virtue of a better last 6 holes with Garry Chrystal having the better back of all 3 to record the win. The 2 Garry`s are both huge Hearts fans and on behalf of The Snug, minus 1, we hope they are celebrating on Sunday!
Keith Griffith led B Flight for most of the day until George, minus 1, Wilson knocked him over with 36 points.
On the 2nd of March we will be holding a Memorial Day for Phil Davies at Bang Pakong. The `sign up` has been posted on the Line Group. Phil was a true legend of the Pattaya golf scene and is sadly missed.
