SIAM Country Resort we 15/5

Treasure Hard to Hold
Wednesday was our first game of the week due to Tuesday being a holiday in LOS. We chose to go to Treasure Hill following the 5* reviews after our last visit a few weeks ago. The course, though still in good condition and a pleasure to play, was not in the superb condition of last time. Greens were a little on the slow side and were not running as true as previous, but the course still provided plenty of challenges at around 6700 yards from the Whites. A countback was required to separate our 2 most in form golfers, namely Willem Lasonder (16) & Jeff Wylie (6). Willem getting the nod on this occasion 17/15 after both had signed for 33 points. NTPs were spread around between Trevor, Jeff & Martin.
We saddled up again on our usual Thursday, with Crystal Bay the chosen venue, and more specifically the A & C combination at around 6450 yards from the Whites. Jeff Wylie (6) kept his run of form going with a solid 40 points, while Martin Hayes (15) with a great back 9 of 23 points signed for a total of 38 points. The course was in good order tee to green, however the greens are a little on the inconsistent side, suffering in comparison to days past. NTPs went to Jeff, Martin & Willem.
Siam Country Resort, Restaurant & Bar is located just off Siam Country Club Rd, after going under the arch past the 7/11, turn right after 50 metres, with the venue on the left another 200 metres along. Golf from here is generally played on Tuesday & Thursday, with the Resort hosting prompt presentations on both days. As a PSC affiliated venue we welcome ALL golfers, including Ladies & Seniors (>60s) who have opted for the “Silver” tee option. Call 0890941841 for scheduling or enquiries.
Hope to see you there, cheers & good golfing.
