Siam Country Resort 21/10
This week we went down the “331” two times. It is better to go now there, because the road works have almost been finished.
On Tuesday 18th October we went with 3 groups to Pattavia. The course was in good condition despite of the rain the night before. The maintenance is very good and also the greens are good to play. We had nice weather, at the start a little bit hot, but later nice with a cool breeze. We had reasonable scores with one peak. Daniel Oshiro (19) confirmed his good form of last week. He won with 40 stable ford points. Jonathan Pratt (11), coming back from a few poor weeks, became second with 37 stable ford points. Martin Hayes (18) became third with 33 stable ford points.
Only 3 near to the pins today. The first short one was to difficult for us. Winners Paddy Devereux (17), Jonathan Pratt and Martin Hayes.
On Thursday 20th October we went to Treasure Hill. The course was in good condition. The greens have been better, but it was acceptable. Again a warm day with later on a nice breeze. It stays always a challenging course to play. The winner today was Martin Hayes. He played a consistent game and won with 38 stable ford points. Second became Paddy Devereux with 37 stable ford points and third Neil Harvey (15) with 34 stable ford points.
The nears to the pin were for Paddy Devereux and Martin Hayes..
