Mulligans Lakeside we 01/03

Clive’s Best Ever @ Pleasant Valley

First to Tuesday though when we had a full field to play The Emerald. The course is currently in good condition, with clear skies & a light breeze some good scores were turned in. 2 flights today with the cut at 20+, it was Jim Federspiel (19) leading the way in the lower handicapped group. The minor placings needed a countback after both Owen Walkley (11) & Neil Harvey (18) recording 36 points. Owen just getting the better of Neil 20 to 19. The higher handicapped group needed a 3 way countback to separate the players after all signed for 35 points. Leading the way was Joop (32) with a spectacular 22 points on the back 9, while Paul Davies (27) & Phompimon Seesa, aka Mham (28) needed to go to the last 3 holes, with Paul finally getting the nod 6/3. NTPs were shared around between Owen, Clive, Jeff & Joop.

Now to Thursday at Pleasant Valley, with the course looking a picture from the clubhouse balcony. It was a hot day with only a light breeze to relieve the humidity, but good scores were going to be needed to get amongst the prizes. As the headline suggests, it was Clive Hoseason (23) breaking 90 for the first time ever, to record a strong 42 points, Frank will not be getting his clubs back anytime soon. In 2nd spot with his best 9 holes & round this holiday trip was Bob Edwards (9), ending up with 40 points after 24 (yes 24) on the back 9. This left the in form Jim Federspiel (19) to pick up the bronze after his 37 points. NTPs were again spread around with the 3 winners each getting 1, while Willem picked up the remaining prize.

Mulligans LAKESIDE plays golf generally on Tuesday & Thursday, with ML hosting prompt presentations on both days. As a PSC affiliated venue we welcome ALL golfers, including Ladies & Seniors who have opted for the “Silver” tee option. Call 0890941841 for scheduling or enquiries.
