Off we go to Green Valley. Another one of Pattaya’s top courses.
The day starts off with the bus not showing up on time. No problem, had extra time up our sleeves, but that was lost when the thai driver, taking a short cut, got lost. We made it to the course with about 10 minutes until tee off time. But we were all pleasantly surprised to see the course empty. Last group to tee off before us was over an hour ago and no one booked in behind us.
We welcomed Jonathan for his first game with I-rovers golf. Very nice Irish lad, big young fellow who could really give the ball a whack. His only been playing golf for two years, chaqqy (spelling?) handed, playing off 14 already. Keep going pal, you will be a single figure marker before long.
Course was in its usual top condition, fairways lush, greens perfect if not for being a little slow. Always a pleasure to play this course.
Well done to Leigh, played out of his skin, improving every week. Keiren had a good back 9 and overall good score, and Gary finally started striking the ball in a forward direction, 12 stroke differential between front and back 9’s. About time.
Emerald on Tuesday 23rd July. Still spots available, so if your interested, please contact Paul on Ph: 0871 895 250
