I-rovers 09/07

Phutaluang (Royal Navy) Golf Course 9th July, 2013
North and West course White tees, stableford.

What a surprise. I personally have played Navy a lot. Every Friday for the first two years of living here. I have never seen it in better condition.
Traditional Navy course, great layout, poor condition and terribly slow greens.

Today, same layout, my favourite West and North Course. Fairways lush, greens running about 7.0, so for Navy, lightening fast greens. I can not pick one aspect of today’s course that I wasn’t happy with. As yet I’m not to mention the price, 1000 baht all in for share cart. I did have vouchers but best value in Pattaya.
Thank you Navy for a real surprise, if only the golf displayed today was equivalent. Navy is a real golf test, you can rack up some big numbers here, as our scores indicated.

Scoring was average today. One player lost 5 balls in the first 6 holes, (me), West course, poor shots no one to blame, but fought back on the North course for 3 over, so overall not too bad.

Navy, I will be back. Course looks great and some of the best caddies around.
