Phoenix Mountain and Lake course white tees.

Phoenix is a great course, and especially on a sports day, cheap price, close to Pattaya and great course.

Despite a bit of a mix up with tee off times we had a great day. I have to apologise to the other guys that wanted to play. When booking the course I didn’t expect such an influx of players and Phoenix were unable to give me extras groups. Generally this wouldn’t be an issue, but Phoenix was packed.

Slow play due to a few Korean groups in front but we still managed 4 hours 20 minutes. Not a cloud in sight so it was a hot one. Dave and Charley joined us from Australia. Charley got in at 7.00am and Dave was in at 8.30am from the night before, so the boys struggled. Dave in a early morning state of confusion wore denim shorts and was forced to buy a nice pair of thai shorts. Very good look mate, and I’m sure you’ll continue to wear those for the rest of your trip.

Big Barry’s from Ireland played his last game in Pattaya for 6 months, off home last night. It was a pleasure playing and drinking with you mate. Look forward to your next trip. Well played yesterday, 88 gross but you looked in trouble on a lot of holes but still scored well.

Gary back to his usual standard after a great score last game. Slow down a little Gary and to Bruce from the States, speed up a little haha. I think Bruce has got a case of the Sergio’s, seems like 20 minutes of preparation of chip it out sideways.

Results for the day:
Paul (hcp 12) 82 gross
Barry (hcp 17) 88 gross
Gary (hcp 11??????) 90 gross

Well played to all the boys that turned out. Great day and good fun playing pool and a few drinks later.

I’ll post a few pictures and video of Barry’s attempt at a Happy Gilmore later.

Burapha on Thursday, leaving Bar at 9.00am. Contact me for details.

Happy Golfing
