Unfortunately 9 golfers only decided to take on Pleasant Valley. By all reports the course was in great nick with no sign of the water that had made life uneasy in Pattaya (Random Flooding) We did play Lift Clean & Place but an hour into the game and you would not have been aware that rain had been about.

No Greetings or Farewells, it was the same old same old.

Only the one placing today and that went to Colin Stielow, who is having what one could say is a good run at present. All I can say is “Colin watch out the handicapper will be watching you!

Colin Stielow (26) 35 points.

Near The Pin’s

  1. 5. Gordon Clegg.
  2. 8. D-For.
  3. Alex Field.
  4. 17. Mashi Kaneta.

Longest First Putt’s

  1. Rudy Regenass.
  2. Denis Steele.

In the photo is Colin Stielow, I guess he does not need an introduction!

Back at the Growling Swan we enjoyed a Savoury Mince Meal to celebrate the bosses birthday.

D-For was let off his chain to collect donations, the Swan’s players and punters are a very generous bunch and keep giving to D-For. All are thanked for their continued contributions to assist the needy children of Pattaya.

For serious golfing with a dash of fun (and compulsory sledging), the Growling Swan welcomes golfers of all persuasions. We generally play on Mondays and Thursdays at any one of the fine courses around Pattaya. We also encourage women to play. Please contact Peter Grey for bookings or any information on 086 1503 086.
