Khao Kheow – 16th of March 2015

The Drut

Wayco, Delves and the Pussy in form

In high spirits the standard Monday field of thirty two punters gathered in Soi Chaiyapoon eagerly awaiting the challenge ahead.

Pre game change room chatter included J.C.Lhoste confirming from experience the two easiest shots in golf are the fifth putt and a chip shot into the bunker.

Allocated the C & A nines in that order and hitting from the yellow tees in warm weather with a sometimes breeze, the course was found to be in superb condition with the greens putting truly.

Warm welcomes were handed out to Terry Dreier from Queensland Australia, Pierre Cere Quebec Canada, Niall Stuart Indonesia, Sam Simmons United Kingdom and Jim Delves and Rogers Ellis from Wales.

In the A grade and as busy as fleas on Bob Geldorf, Kevin Waycott handed in thirty four points whilst John Davis with thirty one and Jim Groves on twenty nine made the podium.

The B grade saw Jim Delves win easily with thirty six points from Frank Riley carding thirty two and John Coetzee on thirty one.

C grade panned out with Patrick Poussier leading the way with thirty one points from Bear Wilks on twenty nine and Gary Monley rounding it out on twenty seven.
