“IT WAS THAT MAN MASHI THAT ZERO’S IN”
As it happened!
Well fourteen brave combatants headed out to have a Crack at That Ball Swallowing Course Parachat, cannot tell you but I am sure that in the bus chatter my name along with Jockey’s names were mentioned. I lost 17 balls in an outing and I think the Jock holds the record with 18, Bernie McCart 14 and Turtle at least a dozen!
We took the course on from The Tees, and on the first Tee we all reverted back to balls in water, with 2 water crossings! Not sure as to how many balls were lost but there were a few! This became the way of things for some golfers that could not keep away from the water!
Can’t say the course was in good nick as all talk was about the water and how they would play the course next time. Well we are not booked there for December but we may surprise a few by throwing it in!
It was Mashi that set the pace, it was a case of the least amount of balls placed in the water gave a better score! Mashi returned with a score of 33 points not flattering at other courses but certainly so at this course. Second, one shot behind, was Alex Field. Third place went to the count back with Keith Buchanan winning the count back and Eric Black losing the count back and ending up fourth.
