The Growling swan 22/2

Toddy fends of Boris Cuypers to take it out at Rayong!
Twenty nine golfers were on time and more than eager to descend upon, and out play Rayong CC. Many of us were playing at Rayong CC for only the second time in the last year and a half.
On entering the grounds it stands out that this course needs some work done. I think we all agree that the course is quite good with the lay out being tough but good (probably too many bunkers for my liking) Facilities are not that flash, the club house is so far out of date. This place really needs an injection of cash to keep up with the times. It is priced as to what it should be.
The golf gave some good results with 3 countbacks out of the 2 divisions. Martin Todd led the way beating Fred Cuypers by a solitary point, with Mike Gosden and Jim Groves coming in a further 2 points in the rear. Yet another countback. Division 2 went to Kae Dayton beating Alain Taddei on a countback with Frank Waterhouse and John Anderson having to be separated with a countback to give us 3rd and 4th.
