Joop Bijsterbosch rocketed at Pattavia

Tuesday we went with 4 groups to Crystal Bay. The course was in good condition, but around the greens sometimes too wet. The weather was not too bad, but always a threat of rain. At the end the last groups were caught by a big shower. That made it a long day. Nevertheless the scores were very good. Tony Wakeling (17) became third with 38 stable ford points. The battle for the winning went between Paul Davies (28) and Paddy Devereux (20). This week became Paul the winner with 41 stable ford points, beating Paddy on the count back.
The nears to the pin were for Jonathan Pratt (10) twice, Bob Edwards (8) and Tom Murray (14 ).

Pattavia was our venue for the Thursday. Driving on the 331 is not a real pleasure, but we managed to reach Pattavia. Playing today with three groups. Paul was our guest player from Dubai. The course and the greens were in good condition. We had an enjoyable day. The scores were again good today. But we had a flying Dutchman in our middle, Joop Bijsterbosch (31). He blew everybody away and became the winner with 50 stable ford points. Second became our guest player Paul (8) with 37 stable ford points. Third was George Gamble (25) with 36 stable ford points, beating Phill Waite (9) on the count back.
The nears to the pin were for Bob Edwards twice, Paul and Neil Harvey (16).
