Tropical Golf 07/02
Tuesday The 7th February 2017: Pleasant Valley (Stableford) This is a Course you either like or you do not. On the day all the places were taken so that answered the question of where most people stand and besides that we had vouches for the day to save a few Baht.
This is one of the Courses that are ‘Just up the Road’ so into cars and a short time later we were there. We had a late tee time and when we got there the Course was quite full and we had to tee off on the back nine, and of course the wind was up.
This is a Course that has changed some over the years and is a relatively new Course. A lot of work has been put in trying to get some cover between the fairways and the old story that the Course was built on too little land seems to have some viability. However they have made a lot of effort to plant trees between the fairways and for some reason the word ‘Four’ seems to be inbuilt into all the caddies and the cry can be constantly heard. Drives you mad.
This is a difficult Course to play on a windy day and so we were expecting a hard time, but someone always plays well. The Course always seems a pretty Course and on the day seemed in good condition with clean fairways and greens that played true.
As quick bite in the Restaurant and then it was back to Pattaya and to BJ’s.
