The Growling Swan

Plenty of rain hit Pattaya early Monday morning (about 3.30am), and it came down consistently for about 3 hours. This threw doubt as to whether or not we would get out at all today. After a quick call to the course we were advised that the course was open and ready to take our punters. Amazingly we played and carts were allowed on the course!

With only 1 bus and a few cars we set out, on time looking to take on Mountain Shadow, a consistently good course that we play once a month.

Conditions were quite pleasant with no threat of rain. Course was in good shape and the greens played true, a little slow in some cases.

With the small field we were to play 1 flight only, Fred Starbeck, as a late starter, returned the best score for the day to take first place 1 shot ahead Patrick Poussier. John Edwards fights off Alex Field to take out third position via the count back system.
