Siam Country Resort 27/12
PSC Golf from SIAM Country Resort Pattaya 27-12-2019
George Gamble on fire at Crystal Bay.
On Tuesday 24th December we went with 3 groups to Pleasant Valley. It was a nice and sunny day with sometimes a nice breeze.
The course was in reasonable condition with good fairways and greens and a pleasure to play. As always has this course actually too many wet spots. That makes the course less attractive. With PSC-voucher program is the course a good value for money.
It was an exciting day with many results very close to each other. Our silent power man, Neil Harvey, was the most consistent. He won with 38 stable ford points. Bob Edwards struggled on hole 16 and gave away the victory. He became second with 37 stable ford points. Stephen Ford, just arrived for holiday from Vietnam, became third with 35 stable ford points.
The nears to the pin were for John Feeney, Allan Cassin, Maurice Copan and Willem Lasonder.
On Thursday 26th December was Crystal Bay our venue, where we played the C & A course. The course was in reasonable condition with a big difference in green speed between the C and A course. C was slow and A was much better and faster. It was again a beautiful warm day with a nice breeze breath.
There was one man today, who blew everybody away. George Gamble was in top form and won with 43 stable ford points. Second became Stephen Ford with 36 stable ford points and third was Greg Jones with 35 stable ford points.
The nears to the pin were for Stan Rees, Maurice Copan, and paddy Devereux.
