Siam Country Resort 24/11

  Challenging week

On Tuesday 21st  November we went to Treasure Hill. It was a nice Tuesday morning to play a round of golf. The course was in good condition, but as always not easy. Nevertheless we had some good results. It was a thrilling finish for Paddy Devereux and Stan Rees. Paddy kept his nerves under control and won with 39 stable ford points. Stan was second with 38 stable ford points. Dave smith became on modest distance third with 34 stable ford points.

The nears to the pin were for Tim Holland, Paddy Devereux and Dave Smith.

On Thursday 23rd November we went to King’s Naga. It was a long time ago that we played on this course. We all were very curious how the course would be. We were pleasantly surprised by the face lift of the course and the accommodation. And that for a very attractive price. The course was in good condition. In the morning we had nice cool weather and a fresh breeze. An enjoyable golf day. The results were not spectacular but good. Brian Chapman played very consistent and won with 38 stable ford points. Second was Sam Gettinby with 36 stable ford points and third Paddy Devereux with 34 stable ford points.

The nears to the pin were for Dave Smith, Tim Holland and Sam Gettinby.
