Growling Swan 7/5

“A Flight” Ian Ward waited for the rain to go them came out Trumps.

“B Flight” it was that man Colin Stielow yet again!

“Welcome back Stuart Casa Rifkin.”

Great to see we had an increase in numbers today, to the point that we were in a position to play 2 Flights. Are numbers picking up? Or is it the course and the price we can get it for? I guess that is a question that can only be answered in time.  With Casa getting involved (due to the fact that he gets bored) I may ask him to conduct a “Survey” on the courses and their popularity!

Well numbers are up so it’s game on! The course was in great condition, other than two of the Greens had been sanded there were no complaints. We attacked the course from the White Tees! This course is definitely growing in popularity! Weather stayed with us for the day and there was no sign of water on the track given the rains that we have been having.

Well we had A & B Flights competing today, A Flight was 0 to I9 & B Flight was 20 +.

In A Flight it was Ian Ward returning with the equal best score of the day, his 33 points gave him the win. Coming in second was Denis Steele, third placing went to Kissy Buchanan. Kissy nudged out Paul via the count back system!

B Flight went to Colin Stielow, he is starting to turn up at the top of the podium on a regular basis. Second in was Glenn Smith with third spot going to Lorraine Percy.
