Growling Swan 4/4
PSC GOLF REPORT.
KING’S NAGA G.C. – 4th of APRIL, 2019.
“Kissy leaves very little behind.” “It certainly looked like the Keith Buchanan Show!”
It was to be eight golfers that would take up challenge today at King’s Naga, only the one bus and a car was required to ferry this crowd out to the course.
Well it’s Thursday and a game of pain & suffering called golf is about to begin ( for me). The course was in good condition considering the lack of rain here in The Nongprue province. That may seem somewhat stupid considering the face book photos showing the flooding that has happened in Pattaya Central. Back to the golf there was plenty of run and there was evidence that they had been trying to keep the water up to the course. Fairways were good, bunkers were clean and raked but the greens seemed a little slower than normal or maybe I have lost power. At B1090 all in that is not a bad price!
The course was empty as we have witnessed on our last few outings, things are very quiet here at present, I am not sure what is causing that.
Our tee time was to be 10am but as we arrived at the tee, a group of two teed off so we were able to get away about 20 mins earlier than planned. As expected we played the one flight with only first past the post to collect. We did have all novelties.
It was Keith Buchanan that just about cleaned up the lot this game, according to his playing group, “the man was on fire.” Keith got back to the club house with a fine 43 points. But that wasn’t enough for Keith! Although only one placing its worth mentioning Tommy Gress’s score he shot 41 Stapleford points by far the best score he has had. Well done Tom the handicapper is going to get you!
