PSC GOLF REPORT.

TREASURE HILL G.C. – 3rd January, 2019.

“Three golfers all ended with 39 points, The Count Back System saw Cookie take the title.”

Nineteen golfers committed to travel out to have a crack at The Famous or one may say Infamous Crocodile Rock. It is my opinion only but I do believe that unless you are a big hitter this is a very, very hard hole!

Well if you were not aware of it Treasure Hill was our destination for the days game. What a great course and one would have to say what a great price. This is one of the courses that I think is starting to realize that pricing is important to us and High Season is fictitious to those that live here. When courses do the books for this period they may realize what is actually happening, and maybe why the numbers are down!

The Course was in good nick, as you would expect nothing other than that from this venue. Fairways were in great shape the greens played true but a little fast, bunkers clean and raked. We went from the Yellow tees which may have been a little short on the day, but I guess you don’t know till you have a go!

We would play One Flight with four placing’s, also all novelties were up for grabs!

It turned out to be a log jam at the Top of the Leader Board, three golfers returned with the same scores but our trusty count back system sorted it all out. All returned with 39 points and it was Tony Cook that took the honors, a great score mate, well done. In second place was Mark Stapleton, who is having a purple patch since his return from Aussie. Then came Colin Stielow ending up in third place, but back on the podium, well done guys. Now let’s not forget 4th place and that went to JC Lhoste only 2 shots behind the pack, with Allan Ray who lost to JC on a count back! Close game with good scores.
