The Judge Rocks into Town and wins on a Count Back!!

With only the one bus out today, it was a smaller tan normal field that was out to take on Bangpra “The Monkey Course”. As usual the course was in excellent condition, I had forgotten just how good this course is. It was in great shape, with the weather being in our favor it was a pleasurable day. The greens were lighting fast (like putting on glass), and the caddies (in our group) were great. And there were plenty of monkeys to keep us on our toes.

As per recent times, it looked like rain would intervene, but it held off and a gentle breeze, from time to time, kept playing conditions very pleasant.

We attacked the course from the White tees, and with a small field e played only the one division, with two placings.

It was Eric Black and Steve Younger that set the pace wand these two guys were our eventual winners with The Judge getting the nod via the count back system.

Winners at Bangpra:

1st   Eric Black (14) 32 pts

2nd   Steve Younger (13) 32 pts

2 Mahi Kaneta

8 Eric Black

12 Martin Todd

17 Mashi Kaneta

Longest 1 Putt:

9 Glenn Smith

18 Eric Black
