Twenty three eager golfers were what showed up for today’s game! Our journey was to that Great Course of Pattavia, just 45 min to one of the good courses at a good price, it is well worth the trip
Weather was on our side, it was hot however a light breeze prevailed which kept playing conditions quite pleasant. We have had our fair share of rain and I do not believe that we have seen the end of it. The Course was in great nick as usual except for the greens which had been sanded recently (sanding of the greens is part of course maintenance)
Two Divisions were the order for the day with Div 1 being 0 to 17 and Div 2 being 18 plus.
Div 1 saw Mike Johns get away from the field in what could be described as a very close event. Mike returned with 34 points only one clear of second & third which was decided by the count back system. Winning that count back and coming in second was JJ Harney with his playing partner, Colm Lawler taking third after losing the count back.
Div 2 was decided by the count back with Alex Field getting the nod over George Wilson, both returning with 32 points. One shot further behind and taking out third place was Frank Riley.

Back at The Swan we welcomed Rob Davis, George Wilson, Tony Cook and the Lovely Lorraine Percy. With one farewell The Judge Eric Black is heading back to Aussie, travel safe Judge and we will look forward to seeing you on your next visit.
D-For our resident hound collected donations again for the needy youngsters of Pattaya and contributors are thanked once again. He is becoming quite good at this is our Donation Dog!
