John Davis – “Welcome back!”
Well we sent off two buses and a couple of cars to Crystal Bay being todays destination, I guess we were not too sure as to what to expect with plenty of rain all week and an absolute deluge last night. One thing for certain is that we were expecting no carts on course, and “Lift Clean & Place”, would be the rule. Much to our amazement neither were the case, we were set for a good game with only our ability getting in the way!
We played from the yellow tees and the course was in good shape, (considering the rains) I am now being told that the course is in better shape than it was last month so that is good news.
With today’s numbers we were only able to play the one Flight with four placing’s and all novelties in play!
We saw a welcome return to John Davis, hadn’t played with us for a few months and greeted the judges with a very good score of 43 points. Leaving his nearest rivals two shots behind. Second went to the count back, with rivals Steve Younger and Keith Buchanan returning the same scores. But bit was Kissy getting the nod from the player that has lost more count backs than Hot Man has trans-genders, Steve Younger. Fourth spot wnet to Rod Weekes getting some late cash to take back with him.
RESULTS FOR CRYSTAL BAY.
1ST – John Davis (13) 43 points.

Sean keep up the good work it won’t be long till you are playing off single figures and probably won’t even talk to us. By the way I am having my clubs shortened (as you did) I will try anything!
Following presentations Alex took D-for around for donations to add to the tally of baht that continues to be so generously given by players and patrons of The Growling Swan.
