“Marty K has a good day out, with some very good scores about.”

Sixteen golfers took up the challenge today to play at Burapah, been quite some time since we have played this course and memory serves me correct a good course that is well looked after.

Well it’s Thursday so we will be aiming to go from the forward tees being the white. We were to play A & B in that order.

Well we were not let down, the course was in very good nick offering plenty of run. We endured a bit of rain earlier which forced us to play “Lift, Clean & Place”. But as it goes here, in this fine country it did not take long for the Marshall to let carts back on the course. Bunkers were clean and raked, Fairways tidy, and the greens although a little fast were as true as could be. All in all it is one off the premier courses here in the Pattaya area.

Our tee time was to be 10:20 and if not for the rain we would have got away pretty much on time. We did come across other golfers on the course but that’s what you get when you are playing one of the better courses at a reduced price.

One flight with three placing’s and all novelties in play (plus 2 jackpots).

Well it was Martin Kempton that came up trumps on the day, his return of 40 points put him one shot clear of The Birthday Boy Mark Stapleton. Then three players all had thirty seven points sending us to The Count Back system. Three players and only one spot left on the podium. Buffalo Bill got the nod, the unlucky duo were Tony Ryan & Robert Cross.
