SAL MAKES THE HATRICK!
What a player, what a star!….In the wake of another top Australian golfer winning (yet again) on the PGA Tour over the weekend with Jason Day winning the Players Championship, one of The Growling Swan’s lowest handicappers (Sal Brizzi) made it three wins in three outings today, by taking out pole position at the tricky Treasure Hill course, and the first to have done so since this outlets inception several years ago. He even birdied the tough 16th “Crocodile hole”!
It takes a special type of person to be able to play well constantly and Sal is fortunate to have the physical and mental aptitude to stay focused at all times.
Apart from possessing the abilities to play fine golf, he also nurtures a generous and giving nature which he demonstrated by “Ringing the Bell” back at The Swan’s presentations, not only for the golfers who played today, but for non golfers and staff too. Many thanks Sal and well played mate!
Any other news of the day pales to insignificance and would detract from the accolades that Sal deserves in this instance…..Accordingly we now move on to the lesser, but never the less mentionable, results of today’s outing.
