PSC GOLF REPORT – GROWLING SWAN
STABLEFORD
Treasure Hill – 13th March 2017.
Mick Johns Does it Again.
With the biggest field on a Monday for some time (30+) enthusiasm was high aheaded out to Tackle Treasure Hill. The weather looking as though it may stay on our side. Excitement was in the air.
Playing off the yellow tees the day seemed a little tough looking at the scores, but it is Treasure Hill a very hard course that will test the best of golfers. With their narrow fairways and the odd tree being placed in the middle on a few occasions it is a tough course. Weather stayed with us and it turned out to be a good day to play.
Again what can be said about this course at this price leaves nothing in the bag! As usual the course was in good condition and played as it always does, plenty of run (if you can stay on the fairways) and the greens are there to keep you honest.
Two Flights today A-Flight 0 to 18 and it was Mike Johns that rose to the occasion with a healthy 36 points. Second went to the count back with Dave Maw winning this from Al Marumoto and Eric Black taking 4th spot on the podium.
B –Flight 19+ saw the consistent Patrick Poussier taking No 1 spot with 33 points, coming in second he very consistent JC Lhoste, from Brad Todd taking 3rd and a very surprised Lorraine Percy finishing fourth.
