Confusion rained supreme as Colm comes Thru.
Seventeen starters gathered today at headquarters anticipating the day’s challenges.
Unfortunately things did not go that way, a mix up at the first tee saw a bit of confusion with 10 players being sent off before the second bus arrived. So unfortunately it was a split field.
Weather was quite warm with a cool breeze affording some welcome relief. Rain was threatening for the latter part of the day
The greens were in ordinary condition, and had only been sanded recently. Not up to me but B19000 for Green Fee, Cart and Caddy was a little over the top considering the condition of the course. We played from the White Tees!
Colm Mullen was out of the blocks on his first game back with his 36 points giving him first spot. A count back separated second and third, Steve Younger took out second with Walter Baechli taking third spot.
