Cafe Kronborg 19/3

Cafe Kronborg played at Crystal Bay on Monday 19th March, where the course was in pretty good shape, depending on where your ball landed. Greens were a good pace, but the putts just didn’t want to drop especially for the A flight.

Our mini bus drivers decided to go through Sriracha instead of using the 7 and going into Crystal Bay the back way, this meant waiting at the numerous traffic lights and a 55 minute journey. It turned out that one of our group thinks the motorways are dangerous and told them to go this way, even though statistically the motorways are much safer!

There were 2 flights with the A flight 0 to 21 and the B flight 22 and above.

In the A flight the scores were not great as everyone seemed to struggle. The A Flight winner, with his second win of the season before returning to the US, was Ty Anderson with 33 points. Second was Richard Kubicki with a hard earned 32 points, but a 3 putt bogey on the 18th costing him. Third was Kenneth Madsen with 31 points.

In the B Flight the scores were somewhat better. Rising to the top was Carole Kubicki with a classy 39 points and the score of the day. Second was Steen Habersaat with a solid 38 points, unlucky for Steen that Carole had played so well. Third was the omnipresent Jan Lovgreen with 33 points.
