On Monday we made our usual trip to Royal Lakeside we had 6 groups battling for the green jacket.
The course was in great condition as usual and this has become many player’s favourite course to play.
It was a windy day so I wasn’t expecting many big scores and only 3 people shot under their handicaps.
The winner today absolutely ran away with it scoring 43pts so congratulations to John Pearce for a fantastic round. John leaves this week and will be missed by us all he’s one of the nicest guys you will meet.
2nd place was my playing partner and good pal Gilly who had a great round scoring 37pts but 4 putted the last….even a par wouldn’t have been enough today to catch John.
3rd was Keith Melbourne who has found some form in his last week scoring 37pts and only losing on a count back to Gilly.
4th was Felipe Enciso with 36pts.
The near pins today was nearly a clean sweep by Tony Inman taking 3 out 4. Well played Tony.
