However we had 5 groups brave there way to Pleasant Valley and with only one short rain break we had a great day.
As always we were looked after very well getting away early even on a public holiday.
We played the white tees at just under 6000 yards but it was playing much longer with the wet conditions.
It was a very close competition today with 1 shot separating the top 4.
Today’s winner was the silver fox from Australia Adam Hewson with 39pts winning for the first time with us.I had the pleasure of playing with Adam today and his 4 birdies were enough to edge victory.
2nd place was myself also with 39pts just losing out to Adam on a countback but happy to finish birdie birdie to shoot 75.
3rd place went to Steve Elles with 38pts. Steve has found his form again now and had an impressive 21pts on his back 9.
4th place was Mikey Hamilton also with 38pts missing out on a countback but another good round from him.
The last spot went to Shaun woodcock With 36pts. Nobody can moan like Shaun if it was a sport he would be off scratch. Well he’s finally had a decent round so maybe he will stop asking me for extra shots lol.
