Allan Cassin not afraid of the crocodile at Treasure Hill

On Tuesday we went to the Emerald. It was a nice day and not too hot. The course improved very much by the rain of the past days and was in good condition. The sandy greens were also normal again and in good shape.

Nevertheless the good conditions, is it still not an easy course. Two players kept each other good in balance, Mark Bromwich and Sam Jeffery. They had the same points on the front nine. On the back nine they played both steady and had the same points again. On the count back was Mark just 1 shot better than Jeff and was the winner.

The spoon was for Peter.

The near pins were for Allan Cassin and Steve Sturley.

On Thursday was our venue, Treasure Hill. Another challenging course this week. The course was in good condition and it was again a nice day. It is still unclear what happened today, everybody except one had problems to make a good result.

We welcomed today Mike Bottom as new player in the group.

There was only one player who kept his head cool and was not afraid of the crocodile. Allan Cassin had a good day and played very consistently. He became the winner with 38 stable ford points. The rest of the field could not beat the 30’s.

Runner up became Steve Sturley with 29 points, beating Jonathan Pratt on the countback.

The spoon went today to John.

The near pins were for Allan Cassin, Steve Sturley and Dave Smith.
