Adam Barton is one of our regular golfers who still works for a living. He works off shore and bases himself here in Pattaya when on shift rotations.
About three weeks ago at Chee Chan, he had a great score of 40 points, but could manage only third place after countbacks.
Today, with an excellent 42 points, including some big hitting, no countbacks were needed to determine that Adam had taken first place.
Takeshi Hakozaki wore the Green Jacket five days ago by producing a big 41 points. A fine effort from him today reaped another big score of 40 points to finish, this time, in second spot.
Tony Fagan hasn’t managed to get his name in the write ups much, but has now by making his best score for this trip to play golf in Pattaya. He has won a countback on 39 points to take out the third place.
In winning that countback, Tony has held out the very much in form player, Petur Petursson, who continues to be right at or near the top of the leaderboard.
In these uncertain times, golfers are ready to head home, only to be delayed by airlines or some other travel delays. This time it was Robert Cha who was ready to go back to the U.S.A via his home country of Sth Korea. However, his covid-19 test was positive so, after quarantine, he came back to play two more games before trying again. He had a ‘best front nine’ with 22 points.

Greenwood golf course was again in excellent condition and, even though there had been some rain about, there was still some run on the fairways. As with many courses at the moment, the greens were a little slower than we would normally expect here, but still running truly.
There was no rain, which was a happy surprise, as it looked very black and bleak on the drive to the course. It cleared away for a very nice, dry and comfortable day out.
