JESTERS CARE FOR KIDS FAIR 2014
The Jesters Care For Kids Fair this year was another success story. The second year at the Regents International School, but the 17th fair, overall, proved to be a popular venue with hundreds, of families visiting the 100 stalls that were showing off their wares and skills. Easy to get to and to park your vehicle.
Stalls that would interest all members of the family with books, clothes, and various items made by individual charities on sale. The children had their own play area plus games, ice cream and soft drinks but the weary parents had their areas where they could relax, have a beer, glass of wine and food of all varieties to replenish their stock of energy. There was even a talking Santa Claus. It is rumoured that a member of the PSC committee was seen engaging Father Xmas in a one sided conversation.
The entertainment was continuance and varied from 10 am until 6 pm. Singing and dancing by children from many schools and charitable organizations, school bands and groups, a magician and an introduction to salsa dancing. At the fair, there is something to keep everyone amused and entertained all day long.
But the whole emphasis is for Jesters to raise funds to enable them to help handicapped and underprivileged children which they, and have been doing for many years, very successfully.
It has been a great pleasure for Pattaya Sports Club to be Platinum sponsors for many years and, in addition, buy the items which are raffled on the day to raise more funds for Jesters.
Woody and his committee are to be commended for all their efforts to organize this event not forgetting, of course, the Gala Party Night at the Amari Pattaya on September 20th.
