PSC SOFTBALL |
We have been playing slow pitch softball here in Pattaya for many years now. All players are welcome to join us every Sunday. We meet at 12:30 p.m. Games commence at 1:00 p.m. We pick two teams and play two games, finishing at 4:00 p.m. If you like out-field or in-field let us know. We try to pick two balanced teams as this makes for better games. So, if you are experienced, a novice, or if you have not swung the bat for some time, come out of retirement and enjoy Sundays again. We have beverages at modest prices and water is free. We also have sandwiches and hot dogs for sale. Profits from food sales provided by Lek go to help needy children. We charge a small fee for players only.

On a splendid, sunny Sunday morning, with the smell of hot dogs and hamburgers wafting in the breeze, our Pattaya Phanaddicts challenged our US navy visitors to a three game softball tournament. The setting could not have been more ideal.

On an uncharacteristically cool and windy Sunday in Pattaya the Ugly Buggers came back from behind to win game 2 against the Boys from Bangkok and even the Softball series at a game a piece. The Buggers were led by pitcher Alan, shortstop Phil, 3rd baseman Tommy, and leftfielders Mark and Diego.

Another lovely Sunday afternoon brought about the first ever “Triple Header” at the newly named Jimmy field of dreams. There was a larger then normal crowd out, most with beers in hand, ready to play some ball!
