The clouds were gathering and the day was hot. With humidity nearing 100%, it must have been one of the worst days for golf. The old timers walked the course!! It was Tully's 80th birthday and he looked it at the end of the day as he and Paul Kraft walked the 18 holes. Needless to say, their scores reflected the day.
Coming in again in first position was Bob Benda. He had another good day and posted 36 points. In second was Herb Ishinaga with 34 points. With his back pains acting up again, he was lucky to finish the day.
As the players finished the day and sat at Caddy Shack Two, the skies opened up. It was another lucky day for us as we beat the rains by starting early. We'll see you all next week at 0700 hrs.
