Growling Swan 23/01

Keith does it Again with 40 points this time!
Today was the day we head out with one of our smallest fields, that does not discourage Growling Swan golfers. Large or small we are out to play numbers are not a problem with US!
Fourteen golfers stood up for the challenge, it was to be the Big Navy Course and it was well worth the journey. Big Navy can be daunting to some but personally I find it a challenging course. We tackled the course via East South nines and went from the Yellow tees.
Again the day went complaint free the course was in top condition as it always is sorry the only complaint I had was the length that we played. Unfortunately we can’t please everybody all of the time but we do a good job pleasing most of the people most of the time.
As it turned out Kissy Buchanan came up trumps with a very good score of 40 points, he was followed a few shots back by Jim Carlson beating JJ Harney on a count back.

Yet another great day was had by all returning to the Swan where the beer was cold and flowing freely as were the stories. We welcomed back Kevin Waycott returning from his latest Aussie adventure. No farewells as such.
