PSC GOLF REPORT – GROWLING SWAN

STABLEFORD

KING NAGA – RAYONG CC – 11th Jan, 2018

Rudy takes “A” Flight with Patrick Poussier cleaning up “B” Flight!

Well it has been approximately two years since we ventured to this course. Twenty Five golfers decided to give it a chance, and being one of the 25 I was far from disappointed actually I was pleasantly surprised! The course was in good nick and for a golfer with my ability it is perfect for me, wide fairways, limited out of bounds and very little water! Cost was also very attractive Green fee, Caddy fee and cart B1200. Great value for a great venue!

Conditions were on our side sun was out but it wasn’t too hot, a nice breeze made it even better. Back to the course condition, fairways were good, there was plenty of grass the greens were true. I just think that it is or was worth the journey. The club house needs an injection of cash but that aint important it’s all about the Golf.

Thumbs up to King Naga!

Well we had A & B Divisions competing today. A Division was 0 to 2I, B Division (Pentridge) 22 +. In Div A it was Rudy Reggenass returning with the best score of the day. His 41 points gave him the win. Coming in second was Dave Maw, who is hitting form late in his stay. Third spot went to Bill Steinmann with a consistent game as per usual.

Div B went to Patrick Poussier with an excellent score of 40 points, 3 points ahead of Bernie McCart who is also having a bit of a purple patch. Third past the post and getting the nod was Colin Stielow, taking out a podium finish via the count back system beating Alan Ray and Gordon Clegg.

Resident charity hound, D-For gratefully received donations from the players and punters, they are all thanked for their continued contributions.
