PSC Fishing – Mid November 2013
Pattaya Sports Club Fishing Report – Mid November 2013
November sees the start of what most of us regard as “the season” for fishing, with sunny skies and mostly calm seas rather than the rain and winds of recent months. So demand for our trips has picked up, and in response to this the Club laid on an extra unscheduled outing on Thursday 14th, most of the participants being the “Banchang crowd”. The entire day was spent drifting to the south and west of Ko Khram, with startlingly mixed results, as some of us were rewarded for our efforts with a mere couple of kilos of Pla Daeng and Snapper whilst Jason in particular hardly stopped reeling them in all day and went home with more than 15 kilos of assorted species, although even he didn’t catch any really large fish.
A couple of days later on Saturday 16th some of the seven guys who went out from Sattahip had a great day, with Murray claiming bragger’s rights with the fine Pompano, which he said “fought like a freight train”. He also had several good-size grouper, and Dene reported also landing several nice fish.
Our last scheduled trip in November is on Thursday 28th, and our December schedule (so far) is Saturday 7th, Thursday 12th, Saturday 21st and a date to be notified after Christmas. For further details and bookings visit http://pattayasports.org/ or phone John O’Neill on 0853917045
